Two guys dry-humping each other with scrap metal and electronics. Songs include
Cocks of Chaos, Posh Cock, Too Much Cock, Cock Up Your Life, as well as the dissonant
and elusive gay anthem All Hail Meat. Live shows only last about five minutes-by
then Matt Bacon has rubbed against Emil Hagstrom's
ever-exposed asscrack enough to need a change of pants. Semen-encrusted fun for
the whole family. After all, it's a cock-eat-cock world.
- Torso, May 1999, Volume
16 Number 10
Twenty tracks of noise, delightful noise. Cock E.S.P.uses grating
electronics, distorted voices/vocals, and sampling to create a great album.
If you like ear-piercing frequencies combined with just a hint of silliness
(including
the song titles and a track that reminds me of an old Nintendo game), then
I recommend this highly. Itís sure to annoy parent and neighbor alike.
- Devin Stevens, From Dust Zine
Cock ESP and friends is more accurate... lots of guests, including Kazumoto
Endo, Lasse Marhaug, Lost In Translation, Joel St. Germain, etc. etc. Funny
and tedious
harsh noise; good entertaining stuff. The second best thing about this disc
is Kazumoto Endo's amazing Cock ESP remix "Nice And Smooth,"
ultra harsh, quite amusing and pornographic to the extreme. The best thing,
of course is the midi track that accompanies the "enhanced" part of
the cd. Find a willing computer and stick it in; Cock ESP's slideshow is backed
by a blistering midi track, "Cars!"
- Assume Power Focus zine
New
full-length CD by probably the only US noisers to fully comprehend the meaning
of the word "showbiz". A hilarious montage of live
freak-outs, noise blitz, arguments and more. With hidden CD-ROM text
and photos fun at the end of the disc.
- Betley Welcomes Careful Drivers
catalog
like Neil Hamburger, only funnier . . . and noisier!!!
- The High-Knee One-Hundred
Collaged
noise, improvised avant-garage snarl and electronic mulch from Emil Hagstrom & co.
plus guests including Richard Ramirez, Lost In Translation, Origami Replika & Lasse
Marhaug.
