Track listing:
Side A: September 1939
Side B: Looking Around

Imagine listening to Lois, Beat Happening, or Butterglory for the first time while sitting in a rocking chair on your front porch drinking lemonade from a tall skinny glass on a beautiful summer day and just when it gets to your favorite song the sky lets down just enough rain to form a rainbow across the distant horizon. Immaculate. Now the band has evolved and adopted a distinctly KinderCore sound. Click the link to see what they're up to.

Reviews:
I picked up a copy of this single at the house of Little Mafia a few weeks ago. I didn't know anything about them except this guy who sports a bow tie everywhere played violin for them. It sat in my room for a couple days before I finally put it on. Yes! Yes! Oklahoma City's answer to the Rentals (I mean that in a good way - I really dig the Rentals). I like it. Snap claps, male/female vocal combinations, pop keyboard sounds. The title track is a great song as is the B-side. I found out recently that the singer is this guy who's always listening to something like Modest Mouse or Yo La Tengo in the little record shop on Indie Rock Corner, OKC; and their drummer is also the drummer in Syringe. Spend $3 on this 7". - 13music.com

Despite the moniker they employ, this outfit crafts mature pop intimacy. Still longing for more releases from the likes of Black Tambourine or Glo-Worm, Pipsqueak is gonna fill the void of noir-pop on the shelves at the local record mart. Damn nice. - MOD Magazine, Issue 5
